Our evening at Mr. Gatti's

I always look forward to Friday nights because that's family pizza night! This week, instead of staying in and making our own pizza when to a place called Mr. Gatti's. It's similar to a Chuckie Cheese or Haunted Trails for those of you that haven't heard of it. After having my fill of the salad and pizza bar it was time to play!! Mommy and Daddy helped me play games but I enjoyed pulling the tickets out of the machines the best. The game I had the most fun with consisted on me rolling balls down different lanes in order to get the highest score possible. I did pretty well. At the end of the evening we earned over 400 tickets! I was able to get some toy penguins, monkeys, horses and a dinosaur. One advantage of this place is that you can save some of your tickets points in an account so that they can add up for bigger prizes so I saved some of mine so that I could come back and get a Dora the Explorer soccer ball. I can't wait to go back.

Double Feature at the Drive-in

Mom and Dad found something very fun for us to do as a family yesterday! After having dinner we drove up to Abilene to the drive in. I took a great nap during the ride so that I'd be able to stay up a bit later for showtime. When we got there we went to the refreshment building and Daddy and I shared a pickle; the sour taste made my mouth pucker. I ran around the parking lot until it was time for the movies to start and also enjoyed the classic Porky Pig cartoon that was shown. The first movie that came on was Shrek. During the movie I enjoyed all the goodies Mommy had brought for us-she says now that chocolate candy is lot allowed in the car again. I made a bit of a mess. Crawling around the car and sitting on the the stirring wheel was a bit more entertaining than just watching the movie and it helped tire me out. I feel asleep during the middle of Iron Man but overall I have a great time. Good thing Mommy dressed me in my pjs so that we went finally got back home she put me snug in my bed. I can't wait to go to the drive-in again!

My New Hobby

I've become fascinated with mommy's new camera!! The pictures I take are still amateur but they are things that I like. Mostly my feet because I love my toes. If you take the time to look through them though you will see that I got a few really great shots and there are more to come. The best part is that I took them all by myself!

Monday with Mommy

I spent my day with my wonderful mommy. She's says I didn't go to daycare because of my running nose but I think she just want to spend time with me-she's a softy. After breakfast and morning cartoons we went to run some errands. At the post office she lifted me up so that I could put the letters in the slot all by myself. I'm such a big help. Then it was off to the park.

We enjoyed the nice weather at the park and I was able to play with other kids too. My favorite things to do at the park is relax in the swing and also "fly" in the airplane with Daisy (see pictures). Afterwards we went home and had lunch with daddy. Then mommy and I took a long nap cuddled together on the couch. I spent the rest of the day playing in my room with mommy and we also painted our toenails. Well it's time to go and enjoy dinner; mommy made chicken and rice soup-from scratch!!!
